Borderline

This is the first take of Madonna’s (Ciccone) “Borderline” (Reggie Lucas) as a demo produced by the composer. Apparently, Reggie was not impressed with her and thought her to be “the weirdest person I’d ever met”.

Madonna’s 1983 self-titled top ten debut LP launched the second track, “Borderline” to number ten on the Top One Hundred, number four Dance and twenty-three Adult Contemporary on Billboard.
