Midnight Masquerade
Swing and Sway with Sammy Kaye (Zarnocay) included vocalist Don Cornell (Luigi Varlaro) and they were first to release “Midnight Masquerade” (Bernard Bierman – Arthur Berman – Jack Manus) in February, 1947.
That same month “Midnight Masquerade” (Berman – Manus) was issued by the voice of Chiquita Banana, actress and singer Monica (May) Lewis with Ray Bloch and his Orchestra. This was the version that became the hit when it reached number sixteen.
