This is the first take of “Speedo” (Esther Navarro) by The Cadillac’s (lead singer Earl Carroll, Charles Brooks, Lavern Drake, Bobby Phillips and Earl Wade).

In 1956 “Speedo” took The Cadillacs to number seventeen on Billboard. Lead singer Earl Carroll’s nickname was “Speedo”. Songwriter Esther Navarro was the group’s manager.
