Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Erhard Bernstein clubWhat can I say.. It was a very happy holiday, and a nice warm evening, nice sunset..
I just happened to find this mysterious set of steps going down to who knows what...
There might be a pot of gold hidden there!
Best Wishes & HFF
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Ecobird clubYour visit is much appreciated, Thank you
I am happy that you like the interpretation. I still have no idea why it is there, but the gold was in the sunset I saw looking the opposite way! (Picture not available just yet).
Best wishes, (Slightly late) HFF, and a good week ahead

Do have a HFF and good weekend from Dj.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to David G Johnson clubThank you so much for your visit
I am happy that you have had fun pondering it. It was in the verge of the road, nothing visible above ground. Plainly visible in the satellite view. My guess is that it is some part of the utility services to the surrounding industrial areas..
Best wishes, (Slightly late) HFF, and a good week ahead

Glad you have enjoyed it, although I think it looks far less ominous in real life. Probably something totally boring...
Best wishes, (Slightly late) HFF, and a good week ahead

A good shot but it does look very grim. One never knows what may be found down there!!
HFF and I wish you a good weekend.
Best regards, Rosa.

I am happy that you like it. This was quite early on in the journey, and apart from going out to see a very nice sunset, I was looking for some other things to photograph to keep the numbers up. Then I saw this....!! (although it didn't really look quite like this)
Best wishes, (Slightly late) HFF, and a good week ahead

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubThank you so much for your very kind words here! Yes, then next leg of a wonderful Journey. We had seen two big dams that day, and a lot of German countryside. It was nice to take a gentle walk to watch the sunset, and look for photographs... Then we saw this!!!
Very late HFF, and have a wonderful week
Love Peter

I am happy that you like it. What lives there, I have no idea. You can see it on satellite quite clearly lat long 51.2810557, 9.5153017. It is not guarded in any way.. probably nothing more than a utility supply cabinet... But I wish someone would enlighten us!
Best wishes, (Slightly late) HFF, and a good week ahead
Peter
sorry: very belated for a HFF..BUT admiring so much this interpretation of your own of a sort of bunker or, anyway ,of an underground well locked up place , looking indeed a bit spooky and mysterious ! In my opinion, this is its own charm; at least for me that I'm attracted to to this kind of places !
best wishes, Bea
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Beatrice Degan(MARS)Thank you so much! I am glad you gave it some deep thoughts!!
I still have no idea what it is. The whole area is quite new, so I don't think it holds an sinister surprises... But, late at night, when all is dark, who knows!!
Best Wishes
Peter
