Yes is certainly is horrible, and we know that the perpetrators are long gone from the planet, but it is part of our history, and got a visit, along with Gleis 17.. We must never forget.

Very sad indeed. Of course it remains as a memorial, rather than the original camp. About the only thing left of the original is the gate and the ovens as in the hyperlink..
