Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubThank you so much for your very quick visit, Maybe you remember there was another photo of the Xing point here..
This line is very tightly curved, and so the railway kept three very old engines (this one, and two of her sisters) specially to work the freight traffic here.
Of course the scene represented is very old, but the houses are unchanged to this day.
Love Peter

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Ecobird clubYou are very right, it is extremely close! Fortunately it is only a little used mineral line, so maybe tolerable as anything else. I don't think they had double glazing in those days!
Best wishes and a good weekend.

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Erhard Bernstein clubI am glad you like it. If anything, the house on the left didn't match the concept, with its bright new paintwork!! As you say, better B&W.
Best wishes and a good weekend.

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneYour visit is most welcome here. Definitely a scene from the past, and on a miserable grey day too... I am very happy that you like my choice of colours!
Best wishes and a good weekend.

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteI am pleased that you like the scene. I do wonder (like Carol did) what it would be like to live in that house!
Best wishes and a good weekend.

The mapping I gave it is accurate, in fact it is from your neck of the woods... Cornwall..
Best wishes
