Visions of Whernside

Visions of Whernside
A look at Whernside from the south after a night of snow. At 736m (2415ft) it is one of Englands highest peaks and is one of the peaks in 'Three Peaks mountain' challenges. It is joined by the Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent mountains . Ingelborough stands almost exactly opposite the wide valley here at my back.

Enjoy full screen.

Glad you liked it Keith. Light for me is almost everything. A few moments later, all was dull.

Cheers and keep safe. Herb

It was just a very cold few days Dany. these peaks are quite often covered in some snow. It's still cold here (about 6C) but it is due to get a little warmer. You are quite right, these are nothing compared with your Alpine mountain but they are higher than the Dutch ones :)

Keep safe. Herb
