Yesterday was sunny all day but the grass out back was still a little damp so I hoped for better today and the weather has been kind. I started at 11am and divided the garden into four sections in my head. at around 20minutes a section with a short break in between. This was easier on me and gave the strimmer time to cool. After another rainy spell we have had some sunshine. I managed to start again on the front garden,but just as I was finishing the rain return with a huge downpour>After a day and a half of sun the bach has dried out si after a trip to town I will start trying to knock that into shape again and maybe get a couple of snaps of the little colour that trying to conquer the lousy weather

A fine sunny day on Sunday So I walked into town picked up my pipe fodder and headed up the long hill to town prorer gabbed some bargains from Herons and caught the bus home. In the last few days including the apporx 3 miles today that's 8.5 miles under my belt.Ok it's not a great distance but a good base to start from.I rested today ready to start again on my grass cutting and tidy up of the garden. After a couple of hours of heavy rain last night threatened to spoil things the sun returned this morning and I got my trip to mothers at last.I really needed to go as she had a couple of little jobs,simple for me but impossible for her wih arthritis. After all the dreadful weather today we had wall to wall sun.I fed the cats,filled the bird feeders,had breakfast and git geared up for a stroll. It is two weeks since my last post,two weeks of continual rain.

Two weks ago I finished 1 side of my back garden,on the Tuesday I rested up,on the Wednedday the rains came and haven't left yet. Sometimes it has rained all day on others a mixture. My garden is under water again and looks no better than when I started. There is no good to found in complaining about it,Mother Natus,she is neither with or against us but she just is.I am at a low point and pretty much cabined up. After a very cold grey morning the day improved with a little sun around lunch time.This was the signal for an attack on the back garden. I decided to divide the larger section minus the spot where the planters are in my minds eye and start. I did it in 4 stages with rest breaks inbetween. With the recent sunny weather breaking up and rain forecast on Wednesday I have a lot to do in the garden. On Thursday I stained and varnished the front door and that now looks like new. Yesterday I started on the garden out front.I tried the mower with no joy so attacked the grass with the strimmer. 2 hours of hard work had it finished. The last few days have been lovely and sunny but very cold at niight so it's time to blow off the cobwebs and start some work. Yesterday my plans were hindered by a visit from three gorgeous females spnning three generations. My daughter Ellen,granddaughter Gemma and great grandaughter Mia. The sun has been hanging around for three days now and everything is finally drying out.If we get another couple of days I might get the first cut on the grass. We have four wind farms in our line of sight here on the island and more are planned. There is a team of surveyers checking the sea bed on the farm dirrectly in front of us ready for clearing any debris sch as old wrecks and ordnace from our on shore batteries fired in the war.When this is done the sea bed will be drilled to a depth o…

I just had a quick chat with Jenny. She is improving slowly day by day and today she took a big step forward. She managed a little walk in the garden,not far and it was painful work but I could tell the sense of achievement she felt by her voice. I will be fully back in harness tomorrow and looking forward to reading your news

It's late here and time for bed but before I go I thought some of you may be still around so here is the latest news. I spoke with Jenny earlier and she is much improved. The treatment to counteract the anti-biotics has worked and she has finished the anti-biotic course of treatment. She is in much less pain and feeling a lot chirpier although she still tires easily.She looked a lot better so the recovery starts here. Wish her a speedy recovery fiolks,she is my best friend although we are miles…

I have had some short cinversations with Jenny. The new antibiotics have given her another problem so she is on more meds to counteract it and all this on top of a traumatic time in hospital' She is slowly getting better but tires easily. More later

Just had a text from Jenny,she is being let out thisaffa.She is tired and very sore but with the stent removed she will not have to go back for more treatment

Jenny has had the stent removed and they didn't need to repelace it,instead they flushed her kidneys and removed a 6mm stone.She may be home today
