After all the dreadful weather today we had wall to wall sun.I fed the cats, filled the bird feeders, had breakfast and git geared up for a stroll. The temps were kept down by a cold northly wind but spirits were high as I headed out for a stroll along the prom.I met up with a couple of old sea dogs siiting on a bench and stopped to chew the fat before the chill wind got to ud and we took a stroll. Back home the cats greeted me warmly and I warmed up with a mug of chicken soup. The cats wandered back out to sunbathe and donning my body warmy I joined them. I cleared up the garden on the debris of the last high wind then grabbed a coffee, lit my brier and joined them. My back garden is shelered from the northerly wind so I sat for an hour or two before retiring for lunch. after lunch and watching the clouds roll in I thought that was it for the day but the sun broke through again I sat out again.Sheer bliss to feel the sun on my face after a long time of grey stormy skies.
