Jenny went down late to theatre so she has not been in the recovery room and is drugged up of course. Will know more tomorrow

Today has turned into a bad day. I had my dinner cooking in the oven wnen I heard a bang. I rushed into the kitchen and found my over sat brooding and emiting the familiar smell of a buyrned out motor. As it is a microwave/grille/oven combination it is tamper proof with no access to the working parts.I wouldn't have removed the cover even if I could because microwaves are not to be messed with. When the rain finally ceased trying to drown us we have had bright sunny days,three of them in a row,a rare event this last few months. The cold had replaced the rain it is bone chillingly cold and yestrerday we had a little snow,this morning was the coldest yet,everywhere and everything outside was coarted in a layer of frost which is still lingering in places but I'll take this over the rain anyday

I am cabined up yet again with heavy rain hammering down and more forecast for tomorrow.In the last 18 days we have only had two dry ones and it becomes very wearing after a while.Roll on Summer if we get one that is. Jenny is still getting through although she is in pain and tires easily.

We have had decent weather since Wednesday apart from 1 hail storm,this is the longest dry spell since October. I managed to get out and about at lst and visited my mother yesterday who is still very chipper despite her aces and pains. I had visit from Gemma and Mia today which was a lovely surprise.Mia is a bundle of energy and keeeps her parents busy. Jenny is still in pain and very tired, sher goes to the hospital on Tuesday to see how thngs are for her op Here after last Wednesday's sun we have heavy rain and strong winds so I am cabined up with two cats who love to be out and about as I do. I awoke to a still day with the sun peeking through my bedroom window so I had things to do.After feeding the cats I opened my door into the garden for the first rtime since Saturday evening when I brought the bird feeder in. The winds would have had it taking off like a helicopter. I filled the feeders up and had a stroll round to survey the damage. Nothing amiss apart from a few plant pots overturned. The internet has been down today.I thought it might be this three day storm we have been enduring but it turned out to be nation wide. The gales and rain we have had since late Saturday night are moving away at last only to be replaced by frost,ice and possibly snow,Oh goody. Jenny stil iisn't clever and suffering with pains,she should have heard from thr Doc by now so I will know more later

It was discovered yesterday that Jenny has another infection and rapid response from her helper,hospital,doctor and chemist had her on a course of anti biotics by the afternoon. It is s 5 day course and hopefully she will respond quickly. On the home front we are battling through yet another storm with high winds and very heavy rain on Tuesday and yesterday.This morning we have a lull before the rain returns later today lasting through tomrrow before turning to snow overnight and petering out…

Jenny had a better day yesterday.This was mainly due to the amount of visitors she had popping in and out which does tire her,also she has been going to bed around 10pm and sleeping much better for it. On the home front on a visit to mother's yesterday I heard bad news about my sisiter Pat she had a bad fall yesterday and damaged both elbows one of them so badly she has a plate in it.The other isn't as bad and while still in a bad way doesn't need a plate. Sadly I have to report that Jenny has had a set back,it sems she has another infection.She is sending a sample to the hospital today and will find out next week then hopefully some anti-biotics will sort it quickly

Jenny has got dates at last,FEb for some pre op assesments and March 9th for her op if all goes to plan. She is still up and down in how she feels,yesterday she had a busy day with people calling in an calls from Mandi and Tony. She has a helper called Miriam who makes her laugh which is a bonus and her neighbours are doing a great job looking in on her and helping out,it is all this activity that tires her out but she is very grateful for it

Jenny rang me earlier than normal last night because Tony had spent a few hours there and although she does enjoy his visits they are tiring. She is doing fine and sleeping a lot better which will help with the recovery. We had a snow flurry yesterday afternoon,it stopped pretty quickley but came back last night for another shot. I am pleased to report that Jenny had another good day yesterday,she still has a long way to go and it is slow progress but she is getting there. tony is going to see her today and she has a couple of jobs lined up for him. On the home front I wento visit my old mam today,it's her birthday and a large bunch of flowers did the trick so loves roses so that what I took her. Jenny had another good day yesterday and here helper has been brilliant. she got some veg out ready And Jenny perched on her high stool and prepped it for todays dinner. Yesterday she had a good mesl in the afternoon and although it wasn't large was more than she has had of late. Jenny sends her Love and thanks you for you kind words and support and hopes ypu understand she is not yet strong enough to come back on line

I am pleased tgo report that Jenny had a really good day yesterday after a bad one the day before. She was not as tired and with the help she needs seemingly a step nearer all it going along well if slowly On the home front I am just about over my illness and lookinfg forward to a few strolls on crisp cool morning,that is unless we get the snow we have alerts for.

Poor Jenny had a bit of a relapse yesterday and wasn't at all well. I rang her this morninng to check up and wish her happy birthday and she is much more chipper. I wandered into the doctors early this morning To get an opinionon the state of my health. This cough has hung around too long and it turns out I have Bronchitis. The doc gave my a prescription or some anti inflammitory tablets and instriuctions to stay home,keep warm and drink plenty of warm drinks. I feel better after a few hours so…

I have been off line for a few days.I spent two days having a complete rest and then two getting my house back to how I want it. I have been havibg short conversations with Jenny. She is kept very busy with the ammount of visitors medical and otherwise which tires her out. They have had her on what they call rapid response.This means the send different people in every day for a week then meet up and discuss how they can best help Jenny.
