The last few days have been lovely and sunny but very cold at niight so it's time to blow off the cobwebs and start some work.
Yesterday my plans were hindered by a visit from three gorgeous females spnning three generations. My daughter Ellen, granddaughter Gemma and great grandaughter Mia. It was good to see them and they spent some time with me just chatting away, apart from Mia she is more a squealer and giggler.
When they left it was almost dinner time so I delayed my planned job until today. I did however do some prep work on it,I was the front door an window frame with sugwr soap ready for a coat of varnish this morning which I did and it looks smart now.
The grass is about dry so tomorrow I will make a start on the grass out front,It looks as though it might be strimmer work on most of it so a tough morning ahead. It will be so good to get out in the garden again but there is a lot of cleaning up to do in the back after all the rain we have had.
I short chat with Jenny yesterday found her s little farther along the road to recovery.

Thanks for the update on Jenny.
And as Summer said, please have a care for your back. You been cabined up lately and it will need a good stretch too..
Good to hear Jenny is getting better.
How nice to have 3 generations visit like that. Sounds like a nice time to catch up and chill out.
I haven't cut my grass this year yet. maybe over Easter if the sun stays out. Been lovely here too, though as you say, pretty cold at night.
