Taken during a walk on Milton Common a couple weeks ago. The one at the top is a Black and Yellow Longhorn Beetle, the other is a Common Soldier Beetle. Don't forget tomorrow is World Photography Day...........have a good 'un..!!

Taken in my garden with my wife's Panasonic bridge camera, which I have "borrowed" to play with :-)) The images in the PiPs were all taken with my Olympus E-M10 Mark III and a 12-50mm zoom lens with has a macro function built in. This spider and the one in the PiP was very small (less than 5mm). All the images are heavily cropped.

About this time of year I start looking for spiderlings. I couldn't find any in the back garden, but as my wife was putting out the garden waste bin for the recycling people to collect she found these in a web around the bin lid. So we had to delay putting out the bin so I could get a decent photo and then I picked them up carefully up and relocated them to a small flower pot in the corner of the garden. If you can stand it, please view large for best effect. It's always difficult to get these completely in focus as they don't really stop moving :-) For Macro Dreams Chalenges: multiples, Insects, repetition.

Taken in my garden. The PiP shows the underwings and the distinctive white "comma" marking which gives it it's name. This is the first time I've seen a Comma in my garden, so I was very pleased to get this shot. Best viewed large, if you have time!
