I do too................but it doesn't stop me digging them out (after photos of course)..........but they'll be more to come no doubt.

Glad you like it Laura..............the background is my out-of-focus lawn.

I no longer have what anyone would call a real lawn (maple tree has grown over anything that existed in the past) so I leave the dandelions to complement the few blades of grass that survive.

I couldn't tell the background was grass because it is so smooth. That's cool.

I cheat! I have a tree stump in the lawn which reaches just over waist height. I've drilled a couple of small holes in the top into which I can place picked flowers. It keep them still, and I can use the lawn as a background. Don't tell anyone though :-)

I love the close detail. You can keep the seeds though Keith! This one reminds me of hat my auntie had when I was little. I used to dress up in it

Glad you like it Jan........appreciated.

I always get lots of these in my garden.............even though I always dig them out (after taking photos of course). I like the idea of a hat that looks like a dandelion - I don't suppose you have a photo of you wearing it? :-)))

Another great close up. That lens of yours is simply great for this type of stuff. Very nice framing too. Well done.

Cheers. Herb

Thanks very much Herb. Yes, this lens is my most used, it will focus as close as 0.7m and is perfect for "tele-macro" shots like this. I also use it a lot for butterflies etc, where you can't get close enough to use a macro lens.

Those details that only my father can see with his magnifying glass that he carries everywhere with him. Magnificent focal length that allows you to admire so many details. Best wishes, Anton.

Thanks Anton. This particular lens will allow me to focus from as close as 0.7mm and is perfect for what is known as "tele-macro" shots. Glad you like this one.
