New Moon setting

Tonight's newish moon, a half-hour ago through trees just up the street from our house.

I'm not a religious sort of person, but I pay attention to the world around me, and I like the parts of religions that do the same. This is (or was yesterday) the moon of Eid, a happy moment for hundreds of millions of human beings. I like that.
