Bumblebee

I grew up in a place that -- to my knowledge -- had no honey bees. So every bee was, to my mind a bumblebee. In recent years, I have had to be careful not to call every bee a bumblebee because, not only are there honey bees around here now, but I've also learnt there are *other* kinds of bees, too! Gulp.
And this summer I am trying to learn to differentiate them and to name them. This one is, I think, a red-belted bumblebee. It was in a chives flower just at sunset this evening when everything was a little golden.
