Le pont de la Valette a remplacé en 1839 le bac qui permettait la traversée de la rivière Mayenne.

Du temps où j’étais secrétaire général du Comité Départemental de Randonnée Pédestre, j'ai fait l'inauguration du chemin de halage de Laval à Château Gontier. Ma balade préférée reste le circuit de la Roche à Origné (10km, 3h environ.) www.ipernity.com/doc/boro/51077952

Je ne connais pas cette balade, une bonne idée à retenir. Moi, c'est plus le secteur entre Mayenne et Laval, avec les belles maisons éclusières le long de la rivière.

Danke Güni, der Fluss ist die Mayenne, die das Département von Norden nach Süden durchfliesst. Sie hat ihm auch den Namen gegeben, sowie der 2. grössten Stadt. LG und ein schönes Wochenende.

An diese treidelpfade erinnere ich mich, die hatte ich auch auf unserer kanalbootstour in Burgund gesehen. Vom boot aus sieht man nämlich vieles, das einem sonst verborgen bliebe ;-)

Danke Edna, ja, diese Pfade sind oft angelegt längs der französischen Flüsse, ideal zum spazieren gehen oder Rad fahren. Übrigens kann man solche Bootstouren hier auf der Mayenne auch machen.

Diese bootstour war ein erlebnis. Ich bin froh, dass ich sie gemacht habe, aber dann doch kein zweites mal. Denn das war arbeit und kein urlaub. Viele schleusen waren ja noch komplett mechanisch und alle zwei oder drei kilometer musste man runter vom und kurbeln!! ;-))

Genau das haben Freunde von uns auch gesagt, die so eine Tour gemacht haben : es war reine Kraftarbeit !! Aber genau wie du fanden sie es ein tolles Erlebnis.
