Castle bench - HBM

The trees in front are ornamental apple trees. As I approached, I noticed that despite the arrival of the young leaves, the old apples from the previous year were still hanging on the branches... Here you find more about the fortified castle of Mayenne.

Kawasirius ^club

Un banc tout en longueur qui semble là pour recevoir pas mal de monde. Le château est superbe sur un joli fond de ciel ! Une belle capture accompagnée d'une deuxième qui donne envie de croquer dedans ! Excellent partage, Christa, bonne semaine, HBM !

Merci Henri, Il est très intéressant, ce château-fort : lors des travaux de rénovation vers la fin du XXe siècle, une découverte majeure a été faite: des arcades en brique de l'époque carolingienne. Les édifices militaires carolingiens encore visibles sont extrêmement rares en Europe. Belle journée.
