En 2015 le lac de Guerlédan était totalement asséché, dévoilant un paysage étonnant: figé dans les profondeurs, la vallée engloutie refait surface avec ses maisons, ses jardins, ses écluses, ses arbres morts ... L'état du barrage a nécessité la réparation du système d'étanchéité de la face amont et la rénovation des vannes et conduits inférieurs.

These "organ pipes" are columnar jointed volcanic rocks. The mound is nothing more than a volcanic chimney in the hollow of which formed a lake of molten rock. The lava, cooling in contact with water, gave rise to basaltic organs still visible today. >> für Karsten <<

2nd PODIUM WINNER, CWP "Like a painting" JANUARY 2020 J'étais ravie de trouver ce champ de coquelicots, situé dans le sud de la France. Mais en tant qu'amateur de Claude Monet, j'ai pensé tout de suite au célèbre "Champ de coquelicots près de Vétheuil" de 1879 (voir PiP), bien que Vétheuil soit complètement opposé, à proximité de la Normandie. I was delighted to find this poppy field, situated in the south of France. But as a Claude-Monet-lover I thought at once to the famous "Poppy field near Vetheuil" of 1879 (see PiP), although Vetheuil is completely opposed, near Normandy. However, I think there is a similarity...

...of the cliffs of the "ocher path". A true geological oddity, these careers with multiple natural colors help make Roussillon one of the most renowned sites in Lubéron. You can walk in the middle of this real multicolored labyrinth by following the explanatory panels on the formation and exploitation of these famous ocher careers. Falaises rouges sang. Merveille de la nature: couleurs d'or et de sang, les falaises du "Sentier des Ocres". Une véritable curiosité géologique, les carrières aux multiples couleurs naturelles contribuent à faire de Roussillon un des sites le plus renommés du Lubéron. On peut se promener au milieu de ce véritable labyrinthe multicolore en suivant les panneaux explicatifs sur la formation et l'exploitation de ces fameuses carrières d'ocre.

Since 1924, the rack train makes it possible to reach the summit without effort. From the pass of St. Ignace, the famous cogwheel train climbs in 35 min. to the top of the Rhune. It crosses a wild nature and the road of the sheep and "pottoks", these small endemic wild horses living in freedom on the slopes of the mountain (see PiP's).

L'étang de Bondy, avec un petit air du Canada....

The site of the Bondy lake is nestled in fir-clad hills, and is surprisingly reminiscent of a mountain landscape. Picnic tables and fishermen's shelters are arranged around the pond. PENDANT LA BALADE DU DIMANCHE. Le site de l'étang de Bondy est niché au creux de collines vêtues de sapinières. C'est vraiment surprenant, il évoque tout à fait les paysages de montagne. Des tables de pique-nique et abris pour les pêcheurs sont disposés autour de l'étang. WÄHREND DES SONNTAGSPAZIERGANGS. Der kleine See von Bondy liegt eingebettet in tannenbewachsene Hügel und erinnert tatsächlich an eine Berglandschaft. Rund um den Weiher sind Picknicktische und Anglerhütten aufgestellt.
