Il est situé dans un joli petit village (31 habitants), blotti au cœur du bocage bas-normand : Le-Champ-de-la-Pierre. Il s'est développé autour d'importantes forges en activité du XVIe au XIXe siècles, dont demeure le haut fourneau. Un village qui semble suspendu dans le temps : Monsieur le Comte était maire de 1946 à 2005, depuis 2005 c'est sa fille, et 95% de la superficie total (405 hectares) appartiennent à sa famille...

THE CASTLE POND. It is located in a pretty little village (31 inhabitants) in Normandy : Le-Champ-de-la-Pierre. It developed around important forges that operated from the 16th to the 19th centuries, of which the blast furnace still survives. A village that seems to have stood still in time: the count was mayor from 1946 to 2005, since 2005 it is his daughter, and 95% of the total area (405 hectares) belongs to the count's family...

DER SCHLOSSWEIHER. Es befindet sich in einem hübschen kleinen Dorf (31 Einw.) in der Normandie : Le-Champ-de-la-Pierre. Es entwickelte sich rund um bedeutende Schmieden, die vom 16. bis zum 19. Jh. in Betrieb waren, von denen der Hochofen noch erhalten ist. Ein Dorf, das in der Zeit stehen geblieben zu sein scheint: Der Herr Graf war von 1946 bis 2005 Bürgermeister, seit 2005 ist es seine Tochter, und 95 % der Gesamtfläche (405 Hektar) gehören der gräflichen Familie...
