Per me a colori era meno interessante: perdeva in profondità e disegno e il terriccio rossastro del background che si intravedeva qua e là creava una distrazione.

Buona domenica a te, Annemarie. Pare che dal 4 maggio si potrà almeno tornare a fare qualche passeggiata. Io ho qui vicino un grande parco lungo l'Arno che spero sarà aperto. Non ne posso più delle passeggiate tipo criceto su e giù per il giardino ;)

Nicely done, Annalia. The black and white works very well and maintains the abstract nature of the picture; in colour it would be merely leaves which, whilst quite pretty, are very "meh" (as my children would say). I like, too, the small clover or shamrock hiding away in the corner. Have a good week and I hope you'll be able to wander around soon.

Hi, Old Owl. "Meh" is a great way of putting it to describe that feeling! I didn't take the photo in B/W (as usual, I was too lazy to switch my camera settings ...), but I "saw" it in B/W even before I shot it. The shamrock-like leaf belongs to a pink sorrel (Oxalis) plant.
A good weak ahead to you as well and thanks for articulating your black and white preference. I love it when people do that: great way for me to learn! :)))

A striking interplay of light and shade, Amelia, and it does indeed make a good abstract. I spotted the intruding clover, it could only have been improved by being a rare 4 leaf variant. :-) Glad to see that the movement constraints may soon be relaxed a little over there.

Oh, Annemarie. So bene quanto ti dispiace. Anch'io ho la famiglia di mio fratello e i miei nipoti in Veneto, quindi sono sono nella stessa situazione e ti capisco. Ma devo dire che non ci sarei andata comunque, ho troppa paura di portare inavvertitamente il contagio a mio fratello che ha problemi di salute. Dovrò aspettare che il rischio sia molto più basso.
