It must have seemed like awaking from a bad dream just to go outside for a while, to think of taking your camera as well was brilliant and your photo for the HFF has rewarded you for your foresight. I hope Italy's recovery continues and ours surly will follow.

Thank you, HappySnapper. Actually, it was an eerie feeling. I rode my bike through the downtown area and it was almost totally deserted. Felt like being in a post apocalyptic movie, where the cities are still there but all the people are gone. I left early on purpose to be able to take some photos on the way there, but ended up taking very few. It was so weird and ..., well, sad.
We sure hope the recovery continues, even though the numbers of new infections are still too high to envision switching back to containment measures yet. It's gonna be a long road, and that's provided we don't take any missteps (which I can already see are entirely possible, with all the pressure to put economic considerations first).

This is a beautiful architecture, and the fence well decorated by this beautiful wisteria. HFF Annalia und all the best for you.

Thank you, George. I even left a bit early, thinking of taking a few photos along the way (my bike route to work takes me through the downtown area), but it was so eerie without the people I ended up taking just a few shots. This one at least had some living presence in it :)

The cat watcher is very funny with its amazed face of course !

It has pointy ears, but it's not a cat! I think a mix between a German Shepard and some other large dog.

Smell is the only thing photography cannot convey and with wisteria that is really too bad :)
The watcher looks like a kitty because of the pointy ears, but is actually a fairly large dog, looks like a cross between a German shepard and a sled dog, actually. He/she was indeed keeping a close eye on the masked person walking about the fence, trying to find a good angle for the photo ... :)))

Oh, now I see clearly the dog's face! Funny...

So cute. I do see him!
