I like experimenting with shooting flowers in black and white. It seems to me that sometimes the results are unexpectedly interesting!

I discovered they can do pretty good in black and white a while back and I always wait for this just-about-ready-to-bloom phase to experiment some more with their interesting patterns.
This particular one has only been blooming since last year and the flowers were a bit sparse and small. I wonder if it'll do better this year. Too early to tell yet!
