What a charming and delightful scene Peter. Beautifully captured. Lovely reflections and I like the inclusion of the swans in your image. We really should visit Abbotsbury. It looks well worth seeing. HFF and have a good weekend

Originally, the swans were on the land, but I spent a long time talking to a nice lady and gentleman, by which time they had gone for a swim!!

This is a delightful scene in beautiful Abbotsbury. Did you walk up to St Catherine's Chapel? I feel sure you would have done. So nice to get the sweet swan family in the picture.

You guessed right, I did walk up to the chapel, but the clouds had come, so no special pictures I'm afraid. I do have a picture from the top of this path, which I might post next week. Looking carefully, the swans are visible on their nest. They stayed there while I walked past and took their photos, then finally (when I was about to leave) they took a swim!
