Nobody seems to know the real tradition behind wearing the black face. It goes back centuries, and is nothing to do with racial prejudices.

Thank you a lot for sharing this image that immediately has stimulated my cultural curiosity about any form of traditions ..and I' m going to try to know something deeper about it..guess where? On Wiky :-)
I love this image in so far it's so stimulating for widening my knowledge and at the same time because suddenly I would be able to take an active part in this dance!
