Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Jaap van 't Veen clubA practice for when they run steam locomotives!
Best wishes
Peter
You have done Daisy proud! What a delightful scene.
Best wishes, Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneThis was a 'Thomas' themed weekend, but since I was in the area, and had never been before, I thought it worth a visit. I am sure many grandparents would have loved to have taken their young grandchildren there!!
Best Wishes
Peter

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Sarah O' clubThank you so much for your kind comments. I am glad you noticed the tree! I figured that without something extra the picture would have been a bit ordinary, so I sat under the big tree in the shade, and waited!

Peter
Fine shot.

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteThank you so much! I thought it would be worth a look, a location for the future...
I didn't see the Fat Controller though, perhaps he was too busy eating his breakfasts, or maybe he is visiting a brother in North Korea somewhere.
Best Wishes

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubThank you so much for your very kind words here. As you know I had gone looking to make a nice picture of the viaduct, perhaps a place to return to when steam engines are running...
It was also a nice empty field, with a big tree to sit under!
Love Peter

I too have a whole collection of model trains which I have saved. Maybe one day another special young child will come into this world and enjoy them.........

Karen's Place club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubThere's just something magical about trains and I don't even know why I love them. I was never on one until I was in my 30s but I've had such a fondness for them all my life. :)
