Thank you so much, I'm pleased you have enjoyed it.
White lions are a somewhat paler colour than 'normal' lions, and due to a gene mutation. They are very rare in the wild, but slowly coming back via breeding programmes.

But at last I can really and deeply enjoy cute moment of a splendid couple!I mean , lions are usually said to be so unreliable and selfish males in a couple!:-) but here he looks such a tender and lovable partner! Thanks to Peter I would say! Apart from just a smiling kidding, greatly admired by this portrait!
