Best wishes ... steve
Reason for the open draincocks, and crew intently looking out of the windows, is that some trespasser decided to set up their camera close to the track. Apart from being on the railway without permission, this bit of track has limited clearance, and is strictly off limits, even to those of us with permits. The drivers response is the same as for animals on the track....!!
Best Wishes
Peter
PS photos of the trespasser were forwarded to the railway management, but I am sure that the crew reported it through normal channels.
Thank you for the explanation about the crew intently looking out of the windows.
I remember some smilar examples...
To being on the railway without permission is not possible!
But yes sometime some trespasser sets up their camera close to the track...
Anyway it is certainly very well capture and wonderful picture!!
So a big YS !

Thank you so much for your kind visit here!! And of course the star!
The rules say that you must be at least 2 metres away from the rails. In this case the rails are up on an embankment, and there is nowhere near 2 metres space at the side. He should not have been there!! As you know, I had a special pass to go on the railway, but even this did not cover going up here. It is simply not allowed!! Some people have no common sense!!
Love Peter

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Andy Rodker clubAs i said to Steve, the open drain cocks were to deter the trespasser, but it does add to the picture, I think!!
