'The Gasholders' in London!
Now they are living accommodation!

A landmark building beside Regent’s Canal. Near to Kings Cross and St Pancras stations.

Thank you for this nice picture!
The Gasholders’ architecture is really interesting!! Three gasholder frames and a central courtyard(pool of water)..

I had read somewhere "the circular aspect of the gasholders inspired the practice to arrange the apartments around three atria."

Maybe one day I can visit this interesting building... (Like in Dusseldorf .))

My dear Füsun,

Thank you so much for your very quick visit here. I also thought of Medien Hafen when I saw this. The apartments are very expensive, around £1M each!
You are right, the original gasholder frame, and the buildings are inside. This gasworks was huge in its day, it fed gas to London!

Maybe soon, another trip to England, and a short walk from Kings Cross station!
