Granite. La Sierra de La Cabrera

Granite areas allow for terrific walking conditions due to the friction it gives. You can hop from rock to rock without fear that you might slide of!
In other words, this is my ideal walking country!
In the background, Penelara, the highest peak in the Sierra de Guadarrama.

Yes. I would find it a bit tricky to re-follow my old walks of even a few years ago! But I resurrected my old stuff and post it and am reasonably happy with the results!

I'm sure you do. Granite is good friction-wise. But early morming wot a bot of ie/friet underfott then even Vibram says - you're on you own here, matey
WOW. Sorry. A combination of tiredness, Heat stroke, general insensibility, etc .. and I would try to recreate my comments - but impossible. it is 2 am and the temperature is way above 85f.

I still can't work out what I was trying to express last night!!! Combination of heat stroke and a rather nice cool Albarino! Even hotter today (44c - maybe 108f??). Perhaps I should refrain from applying sweaty fingertip to keyboard tonight!
