Guess who the silly prat was who forgot his gloves?

Yup. me (on the right).
A very cold walk. This is somewhere between Tryfan and Glyder Fach, not far from the Bristly Ridge. Snowdonia, Wales.Old friends from uni. A shot from 1979, 1980 or 1981.

Many thanks to you all.Have a good week!
In german we say "nur die Harten kommen in den Garten".....hope
you find out what I mean ;)))
Have a nice sunday evening...summer is back in town here ;)
Andy Rodker club has replied to Tanja - Loughcrew clubSadly, we can't look on Pano to see what you wrote! And sadly my German isn't good enough to translate - something about the heart not coming into the garden - sorry - please translate! The translation service here won't do it if there are already two languages in a comment. The poor thing gets very confused!!! :o)
Here it has been horribly sticky - humid - the whole of Madrid is waiting desperately for the promised storm to come and break the dreary, stifling, sultry, very hot and unseasonal weather!
Have a good week!
Andy
Tanja - Loughcrew club has replied to Andy Rodker club"Nur die Harten kommen in den Garten" means something like "only the brave get into the garden". If someone´s complaining about bad weather or wearing the wrong clothes outside, we pat on his shoulder an say "nur die Harten kommen in´n Garten". That´s no offence..just a little joke ;)
Have a good week and I hope you will be saved from this horrible weather!
Tanja ;)
Andy Rodker club has replied to Tanja - Loughcrew clubForecast heavy rain but it still hasn't broken; still stuffy and hot, even at this time of morning! We're used to heat here in Madrid but not humidity! We associate THAT kind of unpleasantness with Barcelona!
Have a good week.
best wishes,
Andy

I carry gloves every day, even now!
I love this image, Andy!!!!!
The whole courageous group of young students look frozen!
Not only the one ..without gloves.
Heroes! in my opinion!
And I'm not kidding at all!
:-)
Best wishes, Bea

Bea,
Thank you all!
Thank you for sharing this!
Maybe you could attach your gloves to your jacket with a short bit of string (or ribbon), then you would never forget them or loose them!!
These mountains can be dangerous, especially in winter!
Best Wishes
Peter
Andy Rodker club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubI never forgot them again!
We used to come here a lot and always had some among us who were experienced and knew what they were doing. But you are quite right!
Best wishes,
Andy
