Welcome to Ibiza, one of Spain's Balearic Islands. Above the harbour is the old quarter of Dalt Vila, with the Gothic-style Cathedral de Santa María and views from the Renaissance-era fortifications.

This is our last day of our one week Mediterranean cruise, so its off into the town now to explore...

Thanks Nick. We were only there for little over a few hours but we enjoyed a drink and a explore of the old town. We never got to the cathedral itself as it was very warm and time was winning us.
I know this place is quite different at nights as we once visited here after dark too, many years back now.

I like the lead in path Herb. A very good shot. It reminds me of when I dropped my youngest daughter and her friend off at Bristol airport, heading for Ibiza! I couldn't wait for their return. All was well though :-))
