Sherpa reveals its secrets!
A look at the footplate of this narrow gauge steam engine whilst at the Barmouth turn-around halt. A 0-4-0ST, build in 1987 by Milner Engineering and based on the Class B Sharp Stewart locomotives of the Darjeeling Himalaya Railway. This was to set-off back a few minutes after snapping this and so must have been almost ready here for the off. See last photo for the big event!

A specialised manufacturing company no doubt. Quite a few of these narrow gauge railways in this area so manufacturing and restoring them may well pay off. Glad you liked it .

A super "detail" shot Herb..........it's. not often we get to see inside the cab of a steam engine. I like all the pipes and dials and shiny brass.........but I have no idea what anything does! The coffee is obviously important though!

A cracking shot and and nice accompaniment for the other one!

Capturing some detail on what is essentially a technical shot is, I think, all important. Of course more detail comes out on the original which is almost 3 times the size as this. The three dials look like pressure gauges, I would have thought that a temp gauge would have been there too. The two glasses are also gauges to see both tank water levels and possibly the rate of rise and fall too but I am only guessing here Keith. Glad you liked them both and as you say they needed to be a pair here.
