Thanks David. Yes, I love an avenue or Cathedral of trees, as you know. I think there were quite a few of these avenues but we only walked this straight one.

Staying cool in the woods is a great idea at the moment Herb...........and you seem to have found a beautiful place to take your own advice in.

The light coming through the trees is gorgeous and I really like the dappled shadows on the pathway. The trees, standing like sentinels, look fantastic and I also like the wonderful green canopy overhead.

It was nice whilst it lasted but we were soon out in the sun again. A rather large fortress building was next on the list here and then our sandwich picnic before getting the ferry back to the mainland. Most glad that you enjoyed it.

A lovely scene, Herb. Good to see the eucalypts, I'd expect they also would have contributed to the aromas on a hot day.

The trees look beautiful and give good depth to this lovely shot Herb.

They were very nice Rosa. We have had a few odd showers in the last days too. Unlike mainland Europe with there 38C in Italy this weekend.
