A great perspective here Herb.............I really like the way the trees on the left of the river bank seem to have been arranged in descending order of size!

The calm water of the river is gorgeous and I love the reflections and all the different green tones are beautiful. A wonderful scene and photo!

..........and I've also spotted the heron on it's man-made perch :-)

This has been sitting in the side-lines for a bit now so I thought I would give it a showing here. So glad that you like it. The river was pretty idyllic and we walked from here approx a mile on the right bank. There were in fact a few herons seen, all protecting their own stretch of water no doubt.
