thanks Gordon. I could have taken hundreds I imagine. Like you, I prefer the slower shutter water at the bottom of the main picture. A tripod would have been the best solution.

I thought the previous picture (also in PiP) was beautiful, but this one is even more beautiful!! Such a wonderful scene and one I could sit by for ages, just listening to the sound of the falling water. All the best, Rosa.

Aye, one can take some nice waterfall shots sometimes. The big waterfall was far more impressive but I caught this river better. Thanks for the visit.

Two wonderful waterfall shots Herb...........both beautifully composed and taken. You've captured the movement and beauty of the falling water perfectly.

The wet rocks in the main image look fantastic and I love all the wonderful foliage either side of the water. I particularly like the PiP for its gorgeous light coming through the trees.

I can't pick a favourite..........both are excellent!

Always good that you enjoy my captures Keith. Both these scenes had their plusses and drawbacks. On getting to see the results on the bigger screen then I wish I had used a tripod in both cases. The waterfall itself was by far the most impressive to be at.

I have to admit I rarely carry a tripod nowadays although there is always a small travel one in the boot of the car. I sometimes struggle just carrying the weight of my camera :-))
