A great subject for mono I would think B&W would work well also

A subtle but real difference between monochrome and B&W I know Peter. This has been done using Silver Efex Pro 2. I am pretty sure it turns the photo into a pure greyscale image of 255 colours (main shades that can then be adjusted in luminance) then simply shifts the tone to eg this or other sepia look-alikes. I could just as easily made this in a more simpler greyscale or what some people may call pure B&W.
