I imagine the makers of this nice bench with the metal backrest and motifs had not thought about the English youth obsession to leave their mark on everything they can. Such are our times. Can’t say I approve, but who am I to say!

Seen on our recent walk around Healey Dell. This was near the Fairies Chapel, but I cannot find any more info about it

Quite a few nice benches and walls defaced like this Gordon. I cannot ever remember doing that sort of thing but I carved my initials on a few trees I know.

Yes, the rust is taking over. No idea, how old this is. There was a description of the valley and this bench nearby but I did not read it all nor take any photos of that. A pity perhaps.

Lovely light and the wonderful greens on the wall and providing a lovely backdrop. The symbols on the bench stand out nicely and whilst I am not a fan of graffiti this is not totally intrusive, probably because it it all in white. A shame it wasn't left aloe though.

This is why I make the distinction between street art and graffiti. To me this falls clearly in the latter category (although I will grudgingly admit it does sometimes make for a good photo).
