Haha Lothar, you have made the same mistake here as Daniela, below. This is not the Italian Island of Sardinia but the French Island of Corsica (Korsika.) An easy mistake as they are close neighbours. ~ Anyway, many thanks for your thoughts here and you are so right in saying how many beautiful places we have, maybe especially in Europe. Your Italian recipe for a picnic here makes my mouth water :) Thank you.

Such a fantastic looking lighthouse and location Herb. I love your composition with the short leading line from the rocks and I think you've place the lighthouse perfectly in the frame.

A glorious sky and clouds, with some beautiful hills in the distance. I also like the clean and clear water and it. has some lovely ripples and light on its surface.

10/10 from me!

The lighthouse does look good Keith, I agree. This was a lovely little spot but I think Corsica has many. You know me, that I try to compose things properly and in this instance it all came out well with the feeling of the soft lapping waves in this crystal clear water. Cheers for the top score.
