Still Life: Study in blue

Two pieces of glass standing side by side, almost mirroring themselves in their enveloping curves. Behind is a background of sky blue and clouds with hints of red reflections in the glass from somewhere, we know not where from.

I suspect the red reflections may have come from your focus-assist light, but I quite like them to be honest.
Love it..!!
Herb Riddle club has replied to Keith Burton clubHaha, flash and focus assist -this was taken well before all that! The background is a projected out of focus slide of a real sky I had taken on a 6'x5' screen. The red light was actually a torch-light shining through red toffee paper . I think the liquid was water. This was originally a glass mounted slide that would not release -hence the scan via the glass resulting in the strange water marks. The original scan was quite big, but I could not find that here and so had to rely on re-sizing this up - hence the rather poor overall quality that incidentally lends a bit of authenticity to an oil painting perhaps. You know all my secrets now ! - Don't tell anybody!!!
Cheers, Herb
