The colours of the Yorkshire coast

Another retro look here, in these days of very limited outings and travel that most of us here in Britain are adhering to. This time just outside the seaside-town of Filey, East Yorkshire. Just around the corner from its famous narrow peninsula into the sea named Filey Brig. Taken in April 2012
Enjoy large.

The details and textures in the cliff face are amazing............you can't begin to imagine what sort of forces caused them. The the sunlight is gorgeous, especially where it's reflected in the wet sand.
I love the sky too..........such a contrast to the rest of the shot. Finally, the people in shot give a great sense of scale. A fantastic capture Herb!

das sieht interessant aus.
Toll abgelichtet.
Auch bei uns in Ostfriesland ist es zur Zeit recht ruhig, keine Touristen (die sonst um diese Zeit unsere Küste beschlagnahmen).
Aber sie bringen auch das Geld, hat alles seine Vor und Nachteile.
