Glad you liked this Andy. Only about 2.5m from home along our paths and trails here. Not the first time that I have deleted my photos accidentally on here. I think it may have been Ipernity at fault though as some maintenance is supposed to be going on. -Hope you have managed to salvage all your old photos. I see though that you are posting many of your older shots so I presume you have them again. Just a new laptop for your needed now I guess :)

I forgot about the closure! I haven't noticed it!
I have about 2500 photos, which somehow got placed on my new computer (google docs and drive). I have posted the best of these at least twice in the past 12 months.
The vast majority are still in my external hard drive which I can't associate with my latest laptop. One day I will get it all freed up but I have a battle with my girlfriend who hates my hobby as it detracts from the important things in life such as financial survival. She isn't wrong but mental survival is crucial too and ipernity helps me cope with the struggles!
And my laptop, which retired for a whole month then woke up again, is showing signs of another period of going on strike.

I see on the news from the UK and personally, in the streets here in Madrid, stupid, arrogant (and in my view, murderous) people ... mainly youngsters but not always, carousing together, hugging, kissing, giving impetus to the second wave ... AND THEREFORE ALREADY IMPLICIT IN KILLING PEOPLE ...)
I despair.

I hear you Andy and in your views of people not caring much about their social contact I am in full agreement with you. On the return walk that I took this there were two boys (young men) playing in the water,inches from each other and just further down a group of five such lads (all cyclist) picnicking just of the path -again all far less than a metre apart. Afraid its a sense of, we're OK we are young so if we do get it, what's it matter. -No sense of social responsibility, despite education in loads of this group. Ah well -life as we say -goes on. Hope you get your computer problems fixed some day.
