Still Life: Study in brown
One of my very early attempts at still-life here. This is showing its age a bit now but it still demonstrates that art lives on forever. And yes, this ended up as a great lunch.

ps this loaf was made at a local Ukrainian bakery, long since gone.

Thank you my dear friend. I really tried hard to get the arrangement, light and p.o.v. right with this. the framing was to me, important too. So happy that you enjoyed it as much as me. I have now known this picture for many years :)

Ah yes Peter, there are always little additions we could use on here but we have to be careful too of over-kill. We did not have such nuts regularly but it was around Christmas time and my mother always bought them as a special treat!

Thanks Simon and nice to see you here again. I have enjoyed still-life photography just in spasms and it has all been rekindled recently by the Ipernity SPC competition. I look forward to seeing some from you too. Let me know when you have some.
