Autumn Idyll

As Autumn starts here, I look back here on one of my best Autumn days out from last year. Yesterday, I witnessed my first real look at the fresh Autumn gold colours and so have hopes of adding to my Autumn collection soon.

I use Photomatix 6.1.1. I have tried others but like this the best as it lets me blend in the final HDR process with any of my normal three exposures. In that: I shoot three photos at 2 stops differences (-2,0,+2) in RAW, then pass them on to Photomatix in 16bit TIFF before outputting in JPG. I then take a look at final processing in my PaintShopPro X8. Hope this helps.

Thanks Herb............I used to use Photomatix years ago...........and produced some really awful, over-the-top images. I eventually gave up on HDR altogether. I may have to give it another go!
