Gone on holiday!

The white against the blue sky instantly says "Greece"! The doors and shutters add a warm tone. It's a pity the house stands empty...

The real Greece Gudrun, meaning that many places like this stand empty, unfortunately. As you say the colours on here are good.

Beautifully composed. Though this does look derelict for some reason, it still is a striking image against the blue sky.

A lovely clean and detailed shot of this apparently derelict house! It actually goods quite good against the sky and I love the colours of the doors and shutters. I bet the views from the other side are wonderful.

It looks to me as if it could be two apartments - there's a door to the top floor and another to the ground floor, but who knows? It is and will remain a mystery for us and you Herb.

Hi Keith, if I remember rightly the other side looked out onto a steepish grass bank overlooking the bay towards the small town, of which this was just at its outer edge, only a few yards form the row of windmills but a million miles from all the tourist! I got to agree with your assessment of the two apartments. As you say a perpetual mystery to us both now.
