Anybody for a drink?

The rather splendid Art Deco cocktail bar of Morecambe's Midland Hotel here. There are also splendid views of the sea too from these windows but with a centre of attraction like this, who needs views?

Ha ha Niel, yes it still has a bit of that reputation but we, on the day, found it pretty good here. This hotel here, is a real gem, if you can afford it! We are hoping the Eden project really gets of the ground -that should give Morecambe a real boost too. We also walked the coast around Heysham towards the power station and that was pretty scenic too.
