Thinking!

Seen near the church of 'Our Lady' in Koblenz, Germany. Not really one of my usual subjects but I could not resist after seeing this candid pose. Unfortunately the ladies name nor thoughts, I did not get!
Inner Dubrovnik

The back streets can get pretty hectic here within the old city walls of Dubrovnik. At least one can still get a manicure easy enough :)
A bride and groom of Dubrovnik
This is what it is like to get married in a busy tourist hot-spot like Dubrovnik. A great place to have your wedding photos taken maybe but one has to not mind the tourist, purposefully kept in full view (including heads-only) here to convey some of the true busyness of this spot.
ps- these steps where featured a great deal in the major series 'Games of Thrones'.
Street Musician in Altea

Now this fellow really takes his busking seriously. We don't see that many with such a professional mic and music stand. Taken near the old church high above the town. He played standards as well as Spanish classical stuff.
Lowry Days
A blast from the past. This old slide taken some forty odd years ago reminds us of the latest past Winter and the old joys of enjoying the snow. This hill has now changed somewhat with new apartments etc covering the top edge and certainly no access to the public any more. The title and photo is reminiscent to the style of our famous Salford artist L.S Lowry. Enjoy.

Seen in the seaside town of Seaford, Sussex. These are beach-huts lit up by the evening sun-set. Yes, talk about 'the Golden Hour'.
Christmas in Marbella, Spain
As Christmas celebrations begin on this twentieth of December, a bottle of wine to be opened accompanies this beautiful little chapel and Christmas lights.
I wish all my viewers here a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The title says it all. Seen in our city wanderings here.
Very close to the monument and church dedicated to Joan-of-arc, who was burned at the stake here.
ps... Notice the bike on the fenced balcony! A great place indeed.
Hope: The famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

** HERE IS HOPING THAT WE CAN GET BACK TO SHARING WITH OUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COMMUNITIES SOON! **
A dull wet windy day at Blackpool can be made quite bright. Here we have an insight into one of my other hobbies (Ballroom dancing) as we see the dancers take to the floor on this Monday afternoon tea-dance. In the background, we can spot the famous rising Wurlitzer organ.
The 12-o'clock Salute, Valletta, Malta
A visit to Valletta would not be complete without witnessing the 12 o'clock salute at the Saluting battery. Just about made it here in time.
"The Saluting Battery was constructed in the 16th century by the Order of Saint John, on or near the site of an Ottoman battery from the Great Siege of Malta. The battery forms the lower tier of St. Peter & Paul Bastion of the Valletta Land Front, located below the Upper Barrakka Gardens and overlooking Fort St. Angelo and the rest of the Grand Harbour.
The Saluting Battery was mainly used for firing ceremonial gun salutes and signals, but it also saw military use during the blockade of 1798–1800 and World War II. The battery remained an active military installation until its guns were removed by the British in 1954. It was restored and opened to the public in the early 21st century, and it is now equipped with eight working replicas of SBBL 32 pounders which fire gun signals daily at 1200 and 1600." WiKi
Goth invasion at Whitby.
For one week (at least) a year, the Yorkshire town of Whitby is invaded by Goths. Mainly because much of the book: Dracula, was based there. This character standing in the cemetery by Whitby Abbey has a certain appeal, don't you think!!!!
Castle!
Memories of Koblenz

The Rhein, cable-cars, castles and music all bring together very pleasant memories of this great town.
Goodby Puerto Banús.
We are actually walking to Puerto Banús near Marbella, Spain, but this guy is on his way out, taking the high road. Looks like loads of fun but would I fix myself into a seat with a lawnmower motor strapped to my back. Hmmm
Well yes, actually!
Surfing paradise Fuengirola

Seen in Fuengirola, Spain. This in reality is a rather small area that has been whipped up by strong winds and the nearby harbour walls.
Fun at the Mendenhall Glacier

The Mendenhall Glacier is a glacier about 13.6 miles long located and in Mendenhall Valley, about 12 miles from downtown Juneau in the southeast area of the U.S. state of Alaska. (Wikipedia)
Evening paddle between the Islands

As the sun descends slowly at this idyllic spot a small number of enthusiast venture out. Me and my tripod and this chappie in his canoe. Maybe he had a better adventure than me but my photo captures it forever better than a failing memory.
