You walked there just in the right season

For such fauna as this, indeed Eva. Everywhere on these walks, colour abounded in the wild flowers here, framing the wonderful wild English Channel with its high cliffs.

Herb.. Looking on the map around your 'Hope cove' picture.. a small airstrip is named 'Bolt head' so it appears the two (Bolt tail) 'your walk'... are local names of districts or areas..
Good pictures as always Herb... an area I haven't visited too.

H Dave. Yes we walked past that small airfield and learned about the WW2 disaster when several Polish airmen and planes trying to do am emergency landing here flew into the high cliffs instead.
We walked all these headlands around here and they were all just as wonderful. The only trouble with this area are the hairy steep sided roads but well worth a visit.
