Around Molls Gap

Around Molls Gap
Travelling along the N70, Ring of Kerry road, just beyond the town of Kenmare and towards Killarney, we get into the mountains proper. A whole range of peaks presented themselves here so this could be any. To me, the light played just as an important part as the mountain itself. Enjoy

Always a pleasure to read your comments here Peter. Yes, a grand place to explore. I was very pleased with the lighting once I got here. I know what you mean pre-digital - I have 10,000+ scanned slides backed up -but rarely use any now.

Thanks Sarah. Sadly we did not have the time to do much exploring by foot on this 111 mile round car tour but I walked up the hill slightly to get this.

Yes it was Leo. The light on this West coast of Ireland was always very good, even in bad weather! This was a very nice spot indeed.
