I awoke to the early mornig sun shining through my window,a perfect day for my plan to change the bedding. As I was changing it I noticed the room needed a little dusting but a deeper inspection showed me it need a full bottoming. With rain forecast for today last night I collected the last remaining junk pile I have, This lot has been laying around waiting to be sorted for years so today was the day. There were papers and letters dating back 11 years,obviously the last time I had a sort out. After the clattering I took in the garden on Tuesday week I am now fully recovered and ready for action. My Knee and elbow only needed a little TCP and an Elastoplast,the shoulder had bruised up and a little stiff but no big deal. Today looked a little iffy with rain in the air early on but it quickly brightened up so time to buckle down to some work. I did some laundry and had it out on the whirly before nine and with a stiff breeze it was getting a good blow. I have been going through a lazy spell of late but sorting cables out a couple of days ago kick started me into action.This was the spare room. I caught a little of what yesterday's deluge was like in this snapshot. today the temps are right down. for thelast 2 days the temps at midday in the garden were around 80f today it was 60f a huge drop. I caught a snap of this gaint coming into land at the airfield. there were two i just managed a snap of this the second one. A wonderful day until around 4:15 then all hell broke loose. Firstly the birds came down had a good feed and vanished. 4:20 the rain started and boy what rain it was a few miutues later the thunder and lightning started. I wondered how the cats would react to their first storm but the noise didn't bother them. They are used to the fireworks on Nov5th and New Year so I guess that was it. Today has been glorious,with the forecast predicting this I started early and had all the grass front and back done before lunch. I have everything bar one on my new laptop.My programmes came across with no problems. I installed Firefox and synced it and all my stuff set itself up on the new machine perfectly.e mails etc did the same. I have been having trouble with my deskyop PC of late. I did have a man who built my first two computers and taught me the basics of fixing things but he has retired and left town. I reseatched the problem and with labour I was looking at around £200 money I can't spare. So I researched more and found a fix I thought I could manage. We have beautiful day here at last,before yesterday we had pleasant afternoons but rain kept interfering,yesterday was horrible. The day set off cold and dark with a hint of rain in the air. This morning I awole to grey skies,gone the sun of the last few days.We didn't get the overnight rain forecast but we did get a couple of hours of it mid morning.with that gone by lunch time the clouds broke up and the sun appeared.
