The River Arun and Arundel Castle

Taken from the riverbank just outside the town centre. The boats in the foreground are all berthed at private moorings, which are made from scaffolding poles and wood. Personally, I think they're very unsightly and spoil the view. They're unavoidable though.
There's a closer view of the castle in the PiP if you're interested.
Arundel Castle is a restored and remodelled medieval castle. It dates from the 11th century. It is currently the home of The Duke and Duchess of Norfolk and their children, the Earls of Arundel and the Dukes of Norfolk. It is a Grade I listed building. (Information from Wikipedia).
